A daily practise that helps my emotional health is one of showing gratitude towards God, The Universe or The Sustainer. It brings me a sense of peace.
I hope this post will inspire others to practise daily gratitude and join me by sharing what they are most grateful for!
1. I am truly grateful for kindred spirits, it is a true blessing to have someone in your life who understands you. 2. I am so happy and grateful to be a part of this new forum, because hopefully this will be a place of learning for many people. 3. With all my heart I am grateful to God for my family, because there is nothing more precious in life then those you love. 4. I am truly blessed to be surrounded by the beauty of nature, because nature allows me to see God's grace. 5. I am truly grateful for books, I just love to read
Until tomorrow S~

Good Morning!
Today I am so filled with joy, so hopefully this gratitude practise will emanate from this beautiful feeling!
1. I am truly grateful for painful endings, because these are the instigators of beautiful beginnings! 2. I am so happy and grateful to be alive, the gift of life is a gift beyond measure. 3. With all my heart I am grateful that we are able to love, because love is more than just a feeling it is a positive force capable of many things. 4. I am truly blessed to be healthy, because health is a form of wealth so often taken for granted. 5. I am truly grateful for dazzling sunrises that bring me such peace!
I hope everyone has a day filled with love and forgiveness. S~

Hello Prompted by the thread, "What is actually prayer?" I have decided to rethink my ideas on gratitude. "That is why it is generally best to show you can be an "I AM" and use such qualities that have been bestowed on you in a wise manner." It was these words that allowed me to contemplate about what it truly means to be grateful to our Creator. By chance/fate, depending on your viewpoint, I stumbled upon a book called Prayers: A communion with our Creator and I would like to share a few extracts that made me alter my stance on gratitude. "The best way to show our gratitude is to receive the gift [of life], and give our thanks by enjoying the gift, by living our lives fully and completely." "For example, if someone cooks a meal for you, the best way to say thank you for the gift is to really enjoy the food... The same thing is true with life. Our Creator gives us the gift of life, and the way to say, "Thank you, God, for life," is by enjoying our lives, by living our lives intensely, by being who we really are. Life is passing so quickly." This has inspired me to contemplate and ask, what does it mean to truly live? And how is one to be "who we really are"? S~
