So, something that I said in another thread is how listening to music was one way for me to kind of escape my reality, to flee the reality at hand, in the form of task, usually a stressful one, or just any kind of responsibility. It turns out for me that also getting food was a way for me to 'calm' my body by temporarily escaping the reality at hand AND providing something to the body. There is something frustrating about how the body puts weight on you, in the form of stress or any kind of discomforting sensation or feeling, it's like a way for the body to say 'hi I'm still here, I need your attention', so in order to calm it down you provide it with what it pleases it. Specially when you're trying to have a hold of yourself, and do something productive with your time, but after a specific amount of time or at intervals, the body will manifest itself, and you (inspite of your will) will instinctively answer, by for example stopping what you're doing and getting some food (without necessarily being hungry). So this stress, or whatever tool the body uses to force the Will of man to do what it pleases, instead of do what it willed. Do you think part of our goal is to sharpen our will to pierce through it ? Because if it was sexual urge, we all know it and we all agree that it will force you to have sex, or in most cases to masturbate, which we shouldn't do for reasons that are suggested in nearly all religions and teachings. But what about stress, that is something tricky and I feel it is the source of all problems, the desire to pleasure is also a mechanism for the body to face that stress. Just like when you're forced to get up and grab some food without being hungry. Now most people will just tell you that you should 'manage' your stress, by for example doing 1hour activity then maybe watching TV or some dumb activity where you actually dumb yourself down and become consciously dead (which is very pleasant), and then go back to what you willingly want to do and then after some time again you have to dumb yourself down, somehow become consciously dead in order to 'relieve stress'. This is very odd and I'm curious whether one can push through this body stress with a strong will, and do what you will when you will as much as you will, provided you remain reasonable just like God metaphorically did by resting in the 7th day. But God still worked like crazy for 6 days and God's will is also very strong, infinite, in the image of a simple 'be'. Appreciate any thoughts

provided you remain reasonable just like God metaphorically did by resting in the 7th day. In some interpretations of the Genesis, God did not rest on the 7th day but it says "God established the throne on the 7th day" where they have wholly reinterpreted the word for rest to mean "establish on a seat" or something like that which not necessarily has to be taken literally. I must find this interpretation somewhere because I read it but forgot from where. Anyways, I understand this as that "God established dominion on the 7th day, for whatever day means in that regard. "Day" could also indicate: "Event, cycle and perhaps step" as per the Arabic I have studied. So, in that case, God did as a seventh STEP do whatever was indicated. It makes more sense to me actually if we are not talking about literal days. Everything is more sensible if one applies some logic to the interpretation of old writings. Regarding stress, feeling pressure to accomplish things is causing it, you feel obligated to do something. We often cause ourselves to fall into the situation of becoming stressed. It is astonishingly easy to fall into the trap of letting yourself become stressed. The "ape" brain of ours is not designed to handle the amount of pressure we may put on it using the superior spirit of our soul (it is basically an animal) and therefore it may burn itself out and it begins to choke. Your body is your weakest link, so you have to live your life paying attention to that and you will need to make sure the body is okay. The only time the body will have the sensation of stress in a natural environment is if it is exposed to danger of some kind and has to fight or flee. If you stress because you are on a short deadline, you activate a similar animal stress superficially and the only thing which will relieve the animal out of its fight or flee stance is to focus its mental attention on something else which many solve by watching TV or "some dumb activity". But when you let yourself turn into a situation like above, then your consciousness lives very much embraced by the animalistic aspect, because you likely follow the instinct with your consciousness. It may be that you fall for the list of commandments/stumbling blocks: 1. Hierarchy - You listen to your boss and since you worship him/her you do whatever to do the very best 2. Material vanity - You long towards the material gains 3. Vanity - You simply become attached to the activity in vain 4. Absorption - You forget to think of anything but what you do 5. You think about yourself and your family to excel 6. You wish to become the best, to win and to dominate (kill the opposition). 7. You may become greedy and employ dubious methods. 8. You will likely increase your promiscuity as a cause of effect. 9. You may represent reality in an incorrect way, exaggerate it. 10. You may be jealous of anyone seeming better and act special towards them. Be well Qarael Amenuel

If most things are vanity and done for the body`s sake. What to do with time? Sit and meditate? Restrain from the world?

Hello hansolo, Hello, And what do you suggest Amenuel? Just sit on and do what? What activities to do? If most things are vanity and done for the body`s sake. What to do with time? Sit and meditate? Restrain from the world? That is nothing which I have even indicated towards. Life may go on, but as a living self-conscious being full of life rather than an "automated" beast following primitive signals (instincts). Participation in the community is encouraged in a constructive and on a highly conscious level, mainly contributing to the development of the spirits of other souls, which is the primary "objective" for a person self-aware of who they are and why they are here. Managing to learn more about the "plot" of this Earth and despite the heavy delusion upon every soul in it teach unaware people to see beyond the charade is highly meritorious. Mental acumen is held in a high regard by the High Council/Realm and the stronger consciousness the more interesting a being you are. Like I have written elsewhere on this forum and beyond, the whole thing is about developing into "an existing being" and is the whole meaning of the Arabic/Aramaic/Semitic term "Allah", being a misinterpreted ancient word shaped by religious doctrines. And nothing on this forum is about (traditional) religion per se and there is no physical accomplishment to aim for in this world and the accomplishment is within your-self, within your mind and how much you manage to grow spiritually/(mentally). Meditation can be of assistance in focusing the mind on what is important, but it is not something bound to the willpower of a person and it is more about being exposed to stimuli and thence resist it, and the more exposure the better when able to resist (temptation). Our "Western societies" are perfect testing grounds due to the immense exposure to sin, basically. In the usual sectarian communities where you rid the society of difficulties and force religion upon people dogmatically, the trial is not as challenging and provides less stimulus. It is commendable to live in a so-called "Western society" and still go against its flow and not build up a contempt towards "weaker" people falling to the temptations of this Earth. After all, you are here to aid people in what they cannot see for themselves and your struggle mentally in reaching people is a test of your mental acumen. In all, it is your intelligence and proficiency which is being tested during your interim(s) here, and the smarter and more innovative ways you can accomplish this while retaining your order/soundness/peace/stability/islam, the higher your "score" is. It is a misconception that this forum and people like me propagate for passivism and silently sitting in some remote sanctuary in the mountains. This perception is entirely wrong and belongs to ignorant and naive clerics of world religions. Not even the misinterpreted Gospels of the New Testament advocate a passive lifestyle not doing anything but Jesus' disciples are told to travel around spreading its message and the travels themselves were fatiguing over 2000 years ago and who has ever throughout the time of history said a teacher of a subject is a vain person? Jesus' followers were taught to be teachers and the spiritual message is like any kind of subject at school and focused on mental growth. Jesus' teachings have been lied about for centuries to focus the attention of them towards either deification of himself or to attack on an imaginary passivism lifestyle which the Gospel does not advocate. And furthermore, abstention from this world is not laziness, it is actually a commendable deed, and it is understandable for any person who has ever tried and this is because the design of this world is to force its inhabitants to kneel (submit/sujud) to its will and any successful resistance is something commendable. And once again I tell you, abstention from this world does not mean not doing anything at all, but it only means fighting the inner instincts to submit to whatever the animal inside desires and in the previous post of mine I listed the 10 "stumbling blocks" of man. But it is always, always worth repeating them forever and they will remain the same until the end of the Earth: 1. Hierarchical (alignment) desire 2. Material desire 3. Vanity desire 4. Indulgence desire 5. Self desire 6. Domination desire 7. Promiscuity desire 8. Shady/cruel/dubious/greedy/exploitative desire (why many people feel awe over "bad boys") 9. And tendency to lie/exaggerate/beautify the truth in order to gain advantage and boost the above drives 10. And tendency to become jealous and boost the above drives If you live your life with the above parameters always on your mind you will be more successful than the one who does not. You must realize that the Earth and its "programming" is designed to induce the above behavior on you against your conscious will and without you knowing why you want it and there is absolutely no rational reason why you do. Many people defend it saying this is how nature is, but they have not contemplated sufficiently upon it and compared mind over matter. Your mind is too highly potent and capable to be enslaved by an obviously distinct body. Stand above the flesh, "separate the spirit from the flesh" as Jesus said, and you will be very powerful without intending or sensing any need to dominate. And that does not mean you cannot be an inventor or a great thinker but quite the opposite, however if your aim is due to the above list then your priorities are wrong. Be well, Qarael Amenuel

I agree with Immanuel. I'm currently in the stage where I can easily tell when satan is manifesting or not, I just feel it in my body and I watch it sneakily and swiftly inducing ideas in form of suggestions towards the mind. And the consciousness is left with a huge flow of pleasant and tempting suggestions that are easily followed when you don't get out of that state (through means like meditation or just stopping everything and taking a walk and clearing your head) or if you don't have a will that is strong enough to not compromise your standards.
Anyways, satan is very very smart and always finds ways to take advantage of any situation, I guess fixed-times meditation-like activities throughout the day is a must. I should probably go back to something like those 5 fixed prayers of Islam.
Concerning my initial post, it's probably because I was being impatient, and looking at how much time it could take and worrying about it. I guess things will take as much they need, and times goes by anyways and it's obviously where you pour your time that matters instead of how much time it took or it could take. On the other hand, being able to focus for longer periods of time is probably a skill to develop, as effortful work gets no support from the body's instincts.
Compared to being able to play 12 hours straight of games and it's all great. It's biased and ridiculous.

And I still think that the will is mainly the one tested. I believe we are supposed to break through the chains that satan puts on us and live with our will that is guided by Consciousness.
It's interesting that the parable of God's will is a simple 'be'.

"Satan" is not any individual and has never been though. Was originally part of a parable and after that conjecture has run rampant. Satan is a kind of force though and Satan is part of the bodily, in each physical organism. In humans, Satan is the instinctive drive of their body and it projects emotions for the mind to handle. In the light of human science, we need to become better at understanding this. We know Homo sapiens is a type of animal, albeit sophisticated or "evolved" as scientists say, and while I call it supernaturally "biologically engineered" for a purpose, and its driving is similar to those of other primates which is the family of their species.
So what drives people to do strange things? Instinctive desires. Everyone might receive them from their flow of hormones.
Greed may lead a person to thievery. Jealousy may cause a person to ruin themselves or spend life in vain. Hierarchical desire may cause a person to many different behaviors, domination, self-preservation, promiscuity, etc... There is a reason the list of Ten Commandments come in the order that they do. Hierarchy means being superior in the primitive ways acknowledged by the person in delusion. Hierarchy may even lead a person to murder in order to dominate and it was very common in past kingdoms. In some cases a son may have killed their father who was a king even if the king had decided the son to take the crown after him, because greed of the position was greater than the respect for the father's life.
Each of this is part of the human instinct and not to be blamed on some nonexistent person called Satan. Impulses you may receive in your mind are due to the animal in you. Why it is "programed" like that is another question, it is part of the design and the Earth was made to provide a challenge. If you blame Satan as a person you blame the phenomenon you usually call "God" which designed a realm to provide stimulus to shape hardened beings.
Contemplating enough and you can actually understand this "God's" scheme without any hard feelings and doing things right in this world does make the trial shorter and allows your "soul seed" to grow where growth was intentionally made to be nearly impossible.
What can you become? Your "soul seed" is an image (or clone in modern words) of your Originator and basically you are supposed to become according to the same image. Your independent mind is your very own and you have the right to your own being, but we all belong to an omnipresent existence in one and your consciousness is a share of that unity, the greater the consciousness the greater the share of the total size. What you sense is you according to common sense is actually you or your developing you, you are an independent being and why you can have free will and this is because your soul (soul seed) has a superior spirit. You are always going to be you, even if you leave the flesh for something better. So away with the foolish ideas that you must destroy your identity due to a dominant Pagan deity. The more of a unique person you are the better and by better I mean truly unique with own intelligent and independent thoughts and great Being, and not "aping" after others like an... ape. This is the development expected out of a successful Being. Strive to be superior than who you thought you were and do not lack faith about it.
So in traditional religionists' terminology, you should become God. Sounds hard, does it not? Takes confidence and determination to a level many would consider impossible and even foolish. Understanding that this is the truth concerning their existence is crucial or else no one would become absolutely determined. This forum is supposed to provide the necessary arguments in order to let go of doubt. I created it to provide a forum to help people in their struggles to find the meaning of their existence, a meaning which has a purpose which does not feel meaningless and silly. I had found out the underlying origin of the universe by the time I created the forum and decided I should help people. I decided I had to bring forth that the purpose of this world is to develop people 'Who Are Being' and exercising the mind in the right ways is essential. To become 'Those Who Are Being' (English translation of the Semitic 'Allahem') is the actual purpose, the Earth is like a development ground in order to harden souls like you harden steel and hammer on it so it is shaped into perfection according to your specifications.
Same for 'Those Who (already) Are', they hammer on each soul but if the the product is according to specifications due to the weak material they just smelt it down again and try again. That is another parable over your life cycles as well. A tree is planted, it grows, but it never brings but sour fruit so its seeds never leave the ground below because no one brings the fruit away.
Be well Qarael Amenuel
