The Way of the Man of Faith is a particularly easy and well intended system to help people attain greater personal empowerment and peace. The Man of Faith can correct me on any errors presented in this promotional material and additional commentary to refine his ideas concerning certain details, but I hope to present to you all the general gist of things and encourage you to take on these important lessons as part of your own life practices in the hope that your results are favorable.
It is evident that addiction can lead to compulsive suffering and pain. When one desires something, when one painfully craves something, it is a kind of hunger that feels like one might die or at the very least cry if they don't get it in order to satisfy themselves. This mentality itself becomes an addiction, and one continually feels a vacuum of hunger for various things, and their life becomes about satiating their various hungers whatever they might be. When one is introduced the drug, it gives one certain sensations which then later a person craves to have again, and increased, and they go down the path of deep addiction and misery in the hope of attaining a bliss that can not be found in what does not last.
We are actively present within the Rabb, who is the hub and the location of all entities, and we have immediate access to the Rabb. Yet there is an enemy, who the Buddhists call Mara, which means Death but they associate it with illusion and sense desires that delude people and attachment to the body, and other things like envy, jealousy, and whatever else.
Here is something I wrote to some Buddhists as they argued among themselves concerning Mara:
"I'll teach you all a funny little trick for almost instantly invoking Mara and catching Mara. I'll claim to be Enlightened or Awake and immediately you'll find Mara will come to you and make all sorts of claims about how one such as myself can not be Enlightened or Awake or the Enlightened One. This is how it occurred in the story as well. Like you said, Mara's job is to make it appear impossible or difficult, and also is the one who comes when one is right there, and Mara comes to rally armies of opposition in people quickly, for example, as soon as I might say "I am awake, I am enlightened" anyone who sees those words will immediately start thinking of ways to attack, insult, put down, deny, and they will deny it in themselves too, and hear the denial of the possibility that it is true, or that it is easy or that such a one could attain it, or that so many have tried, but THIS ONE? HAH! THIS ONE?! NEVER! You can see Mara speaking throughout this thread of comments as well, coming from the side of the Mahayana, coming from the side of the Theravada, coming from the left and the right telling you all that you are far far away from what is presently in your hands. Mara has an incredibly difficult job. To tell you that what is presently held by you, grasped firmly in your hand, is not there. To make you disbelieve in the apparent, thus related to delusion and death. Now are you all ready to meet Mara? I'll introduce him to you: I am enlightened, I am awake, I am the Buddha, ask me a question and I will try to help you. Say Hello to Mara everyone! Do you hear him roaring in all your minds already?"
Works like a charm!
Now why I bring this up is that Enlightenment is absolutely Present, just as the Rabb is Present, and Insight is Present, and the Holy Spirit is Present. That is because the Rabb is already inside us, and the Kingdom of Heaven is inside us as well. This is why traditions and rituals which the Man of Faith calls "dubious" are the wrong path absolutely, to those who think they can attain anything thereby, though such practices may be part of a person's journey, those who grasp at material and external things are not really practicing the right mindset but are going about things in a "worldly" way or seeking the invisible truth in the material world, or the eternal among the transitory, or the Presence among the Fleeting.
Thus it has been associated at times with "idolatry" and "paganism" by the Man of Faith.
The Man of Faith is in direct contact with the Holy Spirit, as are others, but the exact same wisdom given to one or the other can appear different due to the degree of filtering involved by the processes and ability of the receiver. The Holy Spirit has never stopped helping people around the world, tirelessly, miraculously, but many ignore it, out of contentiousness in denial or "too busy" with the world or whatever else is distracting them, all of which are ultimately their addictions and habits in relation to the material world.
Many people may mistrust me, and I am glad for that, because they get to directly face their ultimate concerns in a hidden form. Mistrust of me is really just a projection of deeper issues going on inside, and it is all worth examining carefully.
Now on to the more pragmatic concerns of this practice:
If one does not control themselves, not only are they prone to making bad decisions and thus have bad experiences due to bad results, but they feed into their addictions more, and what you feed, like a beast, grows bigger, and when something grows bigger, it needs more to sustain itself and becomes hungrier, and thus becomes a great burden on a person to feed this monster, whatever it may be. It can even be the pursuit of knowledge through the collection of books, but often it is related to things like food, sex, entertainment, and whatever else. These things are often involved in keeping people distracted from insight and when one is not feeding upon true insight and feeding other things instead, it can be said "the body grows, and the spirit diminishes".
The path of the Man of Faith has nothing to do with extremist asceticism, because that too can become an addiction, like the emaciation seen in Anorexia, the addiction to vomiting seen in Bulimia, and the addiction to muscle building seen among body builders. What we are fighting here is addiction. Addiction as a vacuum and a cause of suffering and what takes one away from personal empowerment, what leads one to living life as a slave to hunger, and a slave to hunger can not be entrusted with steadfastness, loyalty, and the qualities of praise or attainment.
So what can we do? It is simple. Control yourself in everything! Be composed, be deliberate, and be careful. Eat well and resist addictive tendencies and desires, not with any painful resistance, but with an understanding of why. Everything done to care for your body and treat it well, but not to let it be the master over you. It could be said "Mind over Matter".
When one controls their addictions, their fat desires diminish, making space for the light of God to shine through, and then one becomes able to hear better. It is almost like people quitting alcohol and clearing their minds. The wisdom of God is being reasonable first of all, being sane, or as the Man of Faith calls it "Sound" and "Sound of Mind".
This is a challenge and a test, a test which is meant to strengthen those who strive to become refined and excellent, and those who strive to become refined and excellent are given certain gifts, and then even better gifts, such as the attainment of peace, release, missions, authority, and whatever else. It is either that, or remaining blindly addicted and wandering from one feast to another, never satisfied, never filled, remaining in delusion. The hunger may not ever end, we do not know, but for some us, there is a mind set on figuring out the ways to reduce the hunger and become more satisfied.
This message was present long before this current Man of Faith, and people were taught this way from the very beginning. One can consider it like being put in a machine or a simulation in order to train oneself, and some of the people get lost in the machine and it seems like an eternity of wandering for them, whereas others realize the program and try to get out of the maze. The game is called hunger or Escape from Hunger. Some people take the easier seeming solution "The escape from Hunger must be simply to Eat!" and they eat and they eat and they eat and they eat and they eat and on and on they eat, some realize it isn't working, some don't. Others might say "wait a second, this isn't working, every time I eat, I want to eat again later, and sometimes I want to eat more, and it becomes perpetual and endless, but I don't want to live like that, I don't want to be hungry all the time, I'm sick of it, I want to be satisfied, what is the path to satisfaction?" and they think, and you all must think too.
The Man of Faith can write any number of books or say any number of words to you all in order to help you, in order to make things seem more valid or authoritative to you, but in the end it is up to all of you individuals to work towards good for yourselves and better for yourselves or not.
Remember, there are forces out there, part of this program, which are intent on keeping you addicted. Money for example, money being a reason that people try to make money by showing sexual images, like women bending over, to instigate a chemical reaction in your bodies to seduce you and follow your cravings and make you hungry, and make you lost in the machine again. You can fall for it, but falling for it does nothing to satisfy you for long in the end. I can have the largest library in the world, and keep gaining more books, or become a patron of writers so more is produced, it is a vacuum just the same as desire for women or even one woman. Some of us seek to be above "the game" rather than "in it", yet the staircase is found inside the game, and you are given all the messages and tools and strength to climb out of the game. The threats? The threats are "oh no, think of what you'll miss! Aren't you hungry? Won't you miss it all? The answer is simply, no, you won't. I can promise you that if you attain a sense of satisfaction, you will not "miss" anything, because "missing" means hunger, and the whole point is to leave behind hunger and attain satisfaction, to quench the thirst once and for all, and so if it is really quenched for real, by definition you will not "miss" anything.
So how to start on this path? Well simply start thinking for yourself and about yourself, become introspective, become meditative in your thoughts, and look at things as they are. Realize the causes of suffering for yourself, and figure out the ways out. The Man of Faith will try to help you, and I will try to help you if I can, and we are intent on trying to help people essentially to escape from suffering because we do not like suffering and we want people to be happy.
I have other radical approaches but they are not appropriate to this website nor are they palatable or well tolerated to everyone, but the goal in everything remains the same: Satisfaction.
So remember, the Kingdom of Heaven is within you, and God is ever present. There is nothing to fear in others attaining enlightenment or great power and powers, since God is always the greatest, and the "Father is Greater than I" is an ever present rule, in other words, the more powerful you get, the less threatening it should be to anyone, its the addicts that one should be worried about, as they are fickle and unstable and can't be trusted because they don't follow righteousness but follow lusts instead and whatever chemicals are flowing that day in their bodies.
Enlightenment is at hand and in your hand, it is here, it is present, it is not necessarily a great struggle, it just takes careful thinking, it takes shedding away the distractions, to reduce your hunger, to clear your mind, to think carefully, to think logically, to hear the Truth which is God's Word and Spirit speaking and it is within you and it is your life force and has been with you from the beginning.
If anyone wants to learn more radical things though, or how to harness other things, they can email me at foxyfoxgames@gmail.com
The Man of Faith can refine or correct anything I've said here, but what I presented are generally the basics that are present in Buddhism, Stoicism, Gnosticism (based on Platonism and Neo-Platonism), Jewish Mysticism (Kabbalah), Christianity, Islam, Sufism, even in Sikhism and many other things.
They are all simply saying "Get a hold of your self! Take care of your self! Don't act worse than an unthinking beast! Tame yourself! Be a master of your desires by restraining your hungers! Pay attention! Listen to God who speaks and never stopped speaking! Strive in the direction of attainment and away from suffering!" Climb Mount Sumeru away from Naraka!
